Zero applications: the monthly committee pack in a single request

Every month, in many companies, the same committee pack takes more than two hours to prepare. Here is how to produce it with a single request.

01The AGROFIL case

Take AGROFIL SA, a fictional cotton-ginning company created for this demonstration: five zones, three plants. Every month, its committee expects three documents: a six-page memo, a ten-slide presentation, and the email that sends them.

02The old way: four applications

Today, these documents are made by hand. The spreadsheet, the word processor, the presentation, the email client: four applications open, figures copied by hand, and three documents that never quite say the same thing.

Yet at the start there is only one report: tonnage ginned per plant, fibre yield and the gap against target.

03One single request

This time, one sentence: “Prepare the March committee pack.”

In 1 minute 21 seconds, measured on screen, three documents come out together:

• the six-page memo, with its tables and variance analysis;
• the ten-slide presentation;
• the cover email to the committee chair.

All three arrive in AGROFIL’s branding, with the same figures everywhere. The director reviews, then sends.

04What happened

This is not new software. The method behind the pack (the calculations, the structure, the brand guidelines, the tone of the email) was written once, then installed in an AI assistant. Every month, all that is left is the report and one sentence.

Applications opened: zero. Nothing to copy, no versions to reconcile.
